Futuroscope, or Parc du Futuroscope is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques. It has several 3D cinemas and a few 4D cinemas along with other attractions and shows, some of which are the only examples in the world.
The park had 1.826 million visitors in 2010. In total, 40 million visitors have been to the park since it opened in 1987.
With more than 50 million visitors since it opened, Futuroscope is one of the best-known and best-loved leisure parks in France. And the only one of its kind in Europe!

The spectacular theatres inside Futuroscope are gigantic sculptures and their futuristic lines are blending in smoothly with the surrounding landscape.
Every day after dark in 2016, our glorious evening show, La Forge aux Étoiles, will be bursting forth from one of the largest water stages in Europe (admission included in the price of the ticket). New, real-life adventures in giant-screen format take visitors alongside a squirrel and a mouse ! Studio 16 promises a journey with thrilling sensory effects in our immersive theatre, while the iMagic show uses humour to take the audience to the edge of make-believe. Dances with Robots, has been remixed by DJ Martin Solveig and opens with a blast of hot new supercharged club vibes (children 4ft and over welcome)!
And, of course, we still have Arthur, the 4D Adventure, which received a reward for “outstanding achievement” in the category “best attraction”!
